RISE Healing Arts Collab Pilot Program

During the Spring of 2022, we had the opportunity to run our first pilot program, RISE Healing Arts Collab, at Donald Berman UP House in Montréal, Québec. UP House is a mental health charity of Clubhouse International, focused on rebuilding the confidence, purpose, and sense of community for adults with mental illness. Over 8 weeks, we collaborated with over a dozen members via hybrid virtual and in-person workshops.

Of those that participated in our co-created activities, 75% felt they benefited from the creative series and found the filmmaking workshops engaging and relevant. Members of the program felt the series helped them learn to work with others with different skill sets, use their imagination, technical knowledge, and improve communication and visualization abilities.
